Showcase 2005

For the past two years we have showcased those llamas which we thought
deserved special attention for either his/her performance,
their contributions , or just wonderful presence.
Continuing for 2005 -

Nov - Dec '05 SHOWCASE presents:

Peruvian Profiteer

Profiteer has passed away, and what we are left with are his memories.
They are so many it is hard to re-capture what it was that he was all about...
As a youngster he was white & blond and always running.. always chasing.. ears back and running like the wind.
What a beautiful picture..
As a show male he was consistency.. steady and methodical and always placing either 1st or 2nd over and over again...
And as he matured he changed his appearance turning a regal gray and blond..
And a great herd sire giving us such beautiful babies reflecting his color and stature...
Sadly he never became one of the "old men" of the ranch -  he suddenly became ill and we nursed him every day for many days..
Through it all Profiteer trusted us without question, he knew we were his "friends" and we would always take care of him & more...
He was strong... He was a great herdsire.. and he was wonderful.

September '05 SHOWCASE presents:

KRM Profiteer's Peruvian Cream picture  below

Cream is a beauty. He has his dam's cream color fiber and sire Peruvian Profiteer's  face and height . At 10 months old he is over 5 feet tall. Cream displays the nice disposition of Peruvians- very quiet & gentle. He placed 2nd at the North Carolina Mountain Fair Sept.11, 2005. He comes from a great genetic back ground. His sire Profiteer, is the son of the Famous Peruvian Pardo, who was the ALSA Grand National Get of Sire in 2000. His dam Peruvian Tamara is the daughter of the silky Peruvian Ciervo, who is a Peruvian Patron son. An added plus with Cream is the wonderful spinners fiber. Cream says" Come see me at the Southeastern Regional in Georgia.

August '05 SHOWCASE presents:
KRM Peruvian Penuche more pictures below

For SALE- This is a wonderful male for someone.  He has truly been one of my favorites and a pleasure to work with. Penuche is a rust brown with appy cream markings  under his belly and under his tail. Both his sire and dam were big winners for us, and Penuche is following in their foot steps. He placed  Second in North Carolina 2004 , and has placed well in large classes. He is easy to work with and enjoys being groomed. He would also be an excellent Showmanship Llama since he will stand perfectly still in the show ring and has such an upright straight neck line. I think he might like to do performance too.  If you are looking for a male to  enjoy and interact with you should consider Penuche.  Penuche says< " Come see me in September in North Carolina, and take me for a walk."  Lil ---Call for any questions on Penuche or copy of his registration.
