KRM     Kent Rock Meadows, was started in 1995, with a couple of pygmy goats, a dog, and three cats.   And then a birthday wish turned into a beautiful 6 month old male  Llama, Halston.
From there it didn't take us long to gather several new females, either bred or with cria. What a beautiful group

And then we took a deep breath................
We began to focus in on what was it we were trying to accomplish.  Besides just surrounding ourselves with these wonderful creatures...

"I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. "
                                                               Robert Frost

Off we went on OUR crusade. We began looking for specific animals, specific bloodlines, Peruvian imports, and in search of a new Herd Sire.
After two years we had found our herd sire, we had imports, and we had our bloodlines. And in the midst of this whole package we discovered a 2nd Peruvian herd sire, who at that time was a wild running and jumping  one month old. This was the start of our Peruvian herd.

Since then, we have continued searching out animals that would enhance and improve our base herd. More on this later....

......  CHANGES IN 2004 ......

In 2004, KENT ROCK MEADOWS  as we have always known it has changed -
For the last nine plus years  more and more llamas were added to the initial herd, our initial goals evolved and "stuff happened".
So that not too long ago we began to think about relocating - where everything would be set up just as we wanted it -
good meadows, lots of green grass,  sufficient barn space, and peace & quiet.
Well, we did it..  The pictures below is at our new farm near Lincolnton & Washington, Georgia .

......  & finally in '05 ......
This is our new home just completed in July '05:
