Llama
Care SALES

The Peruvian lines at our ranch have been very interesting and fun to work with. We discovered that they have a very gentle disposition, and the fiber which they display is very colorful and nice to spin and knit with. Their size can range from about five foot five to well over six feet tall.
At the present time, we are fortunate to have the largest Full Peruvian herd in the South East. Our Peruvians come from six different blood lines as well as Peruvian imports. Currently, the Peruvian Government has closed all importation of their llamas to the U.S.A. That means no more Peruvian bloodlines will be entering the US.
If you are looking for a new line
and want to add to your herd we have some excellent animals to choose from. You
can create your own Peruvian by selecting from our lovely ladies and the herd
sire you desire. Take a look at the possibilities these ladies can offer you.
( Our males can be seen on the herd sire page)

PROFITINA Although
she has since been sold, Profitina was Mom to one of our best males -
PROFITEER..
El Brujo De Peru x Peruvian Ilusion Profitina is the first full Peruvian female which we purchased. She has a smoky gray body with two front white socks. Her head is a very beautiful cream yellow and black with brown streaks. She has been more than outstanding for us. All of her cria have tremendous amounts of color. The fiber on her cria is a spinners dream, and will knit up well for shawls and delicate clothing. We have had three full Peruvian males from Profitina and as we said above - all are colorful, wonderful fiber, and an easy going disposition. |

PERUVIAN CHINABERRY Although she has been sold Chinaberry was one of great Peruvian ladies. The Peruvian Commodore x SRF Peruvian Marita
|
Chinaberry is our doll. She is sweet and very curious and eager to learn. Her color comes off the sire side. It is a single coat fleece of white and rusty brown with a fiber micron count of 17.8. On the dam side Peruvian Destillo also has thrown this lovely rust color. Destillo had a rust head and an appy body so Chinaberry should have colorful cria. Chinaberry has been bred to our colorful herdsire, Peruvian Profiteer, for a Fall '02 delivery. |
