 Llama Care
SALES

The Peruvian lines at our ranch have been very interesting and fun to work with. We discovered that they have a very gentle disposition, and the fiber which they display is very colorful and nice to spin and knit with. Their size can range from about five foot five to well over six feet tall.

At the present time, we are fortunate to have the largest Full Peruvian herd in the South East. Our Peruvians come from six different blood lines as well as  Peruvian imports. Currently, the Peruvian Government has closed all importation of their llamas to the U.S.A. That means no more Peruvian bloodlines will be entering the US.

If you are looking for a new line and want to add to your herd we have some excellent animals to choose from. You can create your own Peruvian by selecting from our lovely ladies and the herd sire you desire. Take a look at the possibilities these ladies can offer you.
( Our males can be seen on the herd sire page)

PERUVIAN TAMARA

This spring (04/02) we have just added Tamara to our great herd of Peruvian Females. She is so impressive!!!  We are now looking for females which can enhance our breeding program with suri wool, color conformation and size,  AND -  She has it all.

Caramelo is a direct import from Peru, and she is the dam of the first Peruvian cria born in the U.S.A. Who is the famous male ( U.S. I ). She is a regal rust and Strawberry colored appy, and our largest female, over six feet tall. She seems to like to give birth to appy llamas with a very marvelous fiber.
Caramello is bred to Peruvian Brunate' and will be delivering in early May '02.

This is a female llama which I had a major search out for, because I wanted a Chocolate Carmel Explosion daughter. Lumenience more than fulfilled my dream. She is another very tall girl with big black rings around her eyes, and a chocolate tail. She tops her color scheme off with a pearl white wool. One step back Peruvian Patron is in her blood line.  PERUVIAN PASTRIES THAT HAVE MOVED
TO NEW HOMES

PERUVIAN PROFITINA      Although she has since been sold, Profitina was Mom to one of our best males - PROFITEER..

El Brujo De Peru x Peruvian Ilusion

Profitina is the first full Peruvian female which we purchased. She has a smoky gray body with two front white socks. Her head is a very beautiful cream yellow and black with brown streaks. She has been more than outstanding for us. All of her cria have tremendous amounts of color. The fiber on her cria is a spinners dream, and will knit up well for shawls and delicate clothing. We have had three full Peruvian males from Profitina and as we said above - all are colorful, wonderful fiber, and an easy going disposition.

PERUVIAN CHINABERRY

Although she has been sold Chinaberry was one of great Peruvian ladies.

The Peruvian Commodore x SRF Peruvian Marita

Chinaberry is our doll. She is sweet and very curious and eager to learn. Her color comes off the sire side. It is a single coat fleece of white and rusty brown with a fiber micron count of 17.8. On the dam side Peruvian Destillo also has thrown this lovely rust color. Destillo had a rust head and an appy body so Chinaberry should have colorful cria. Chinaberry has been bred to our colorful herdsire, Peruvian Profiteer, for a Fall '02 delivery.

KRM Simply Irresistible

I've been sold
KRM SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE. (f)
Peruvian Brunate' x Chocolate Ripplle
Wouldn't you love a 1/2 of the Peruvian Pie? And there is a little hint of Bolivian in this pastry too. She is a dark black llama with very correct wooly ears with flecks of silver on them. Her face has silver and the tip of her tail has just the hint of silver, or is this whip cream? Her sire Brunate' is passing on this signature silver on the tail & body, or is this whip cream? This is a Show Quality female and needs to be in the ring.
