nothing yet. .
It has been around 85 degrees here this past week, and if
anything will hurry our "soon to be" Moms, this heat should do
it. But as yet - Nothing'

Easter Sunday.. Rain this morning, and then sort of off and on showers,
clear skies. But a noticeable change in the temperature. We
took a little longer than expected getting home, and as we pulled back in the
driveway around 2, we saw all of the females gathered at the shelter.

day after Easter - here
we go again.... I had to travel to Mobile today, and Lil is home
alone. After all of the feeding, etc. is done, a trip to the
store. Returning home and as Lil turns in the drive way, there is Lumenience standing in the top pasture, and it looks like a couple of feet
are beginning to show. And Lumenience is looking at Lil as if to say - Well
hurry up - things are really happening!!!!!
The
delivery went fine and here is the result- KRM

We are still in the
"wait" mode with our girls. The weather is sooo temperate and
comfortable, it seems they are just in the hold condition to make these next
babies - Perfect!! We continue to walk down the hill to check on them at
least four/five times a day, or at least every time we can't see where all of
the females are. That is usually our first indicator that something is
different. But so far, all is well.

Today's the day. This morning
I was
sitting in the office working the computer and Lil came in - and in a very
serious voice - " We're having a baby!! "

Our Spring cria have been
born. They are now growing boys, running out in the pasture each morning with
their moms, playing rough house all day, and at end of day they are back in
their small barn sound asleep. They are growing strong, learning how to
interact, and do male things. |
