Kent Rock Meadows Llamas
Raising "Purely Peruvians" in the South

Located in the farmland of Georgia
that they call the "Classic South"
we have been raising these exceptional creatures for
more than thirteen glorious years.............
We feel that all of our wonderful llamas are outstanding,
each in their own way. All have that special way of
making you feel good as you become part of their world.

Lil and CCC Bronce's Miss Tea

............What took place in our lives
well over thirteen years ago,
I suppose the following quote says it all

" I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. "

                                        Robert Frost

Sometimes we are afforded an opportunity in our lives
......... We were ........
AND we took a new path which changed our lives forever
We discovered Llamas

MoonShadows .. Peruvian Vogue .. Snows of Kilimanjaro

Back in the early '90's.....
we wanted to enhance our day to day business lives with some new venture- At first Dave started out developing a peach orchard of 100 trees and Lil's goal was to raise a good group of exotic fibered animals - most likely Cashmere Goats or Merino Sheep. But as we continued our journey we came to the divergent path and made a turn .
To make a long story - shorter - Llamas very soon became a part of our life.
And in no time we took the road less traveled.

Our Goal - create a small quality herd that we would be proud to show and also could offer for sale.
We began breeding for balance, good confirmation, strong bone, and spinner's fiber, in other words,
llamas which would show well.

To achieve that goal, very early on, we focused on  PERUVIANS -
we liked their distinct look - their flash - their attitude
& their congenial disposition.
